I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (WA License: LH60959273). I earned a Master of Counseling from Mount Mary University in Wisconsin and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
I have 11 years working in the field of mental health at all levels of care including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient.
I view myself as a teacher of healthy coping skills where clients are able to over time, enact these skills in their own lives to have the confidence to make changes for themselves.

My approach to counseling is primarily cognitive-behavioral in addition to using aspects of dialectical behavioral and existential therapy. I believe these modalities can truly help individuals learn healthy coping skills to reduce unhelpful behaviors and thoughts in our lives. Techniques used to help facilitate our sessions may include family therapy, exposure therapy, journaling and use of psycho-educational resources (homework, books, videos, etc).
